Atlante 

Atlante è uno dei Titani, figlio di Urano (il Cielo) e Gea (la Terra).

Durante la Titanomachia, la guerra tra i Titani e gli dei dell'Olimpo, Atlante e gli altri Titani furono sconfitti.

Come punizione per aver combattuto contro gli dei olimpici, Zeus condannò Atlante a reggere sulle sue spalle la volta celeste, ovvero il peso del cielo, per l'eternità.

I soggetti, sempre al femminile, ritratti nella serie "Atlante" sono i nuovi Titani.

In un futuro dalla prospettiva nefasta, queste donne del futuro, brillanti e forti,

 sapranno sorreggere il peso del mondo.

Atlas is one of the Titans, the son of Uranus (the Sky) and Gaia (the Earth).  

During the Titanomachy, the war between the Titans and the Olympian gods, Atlas and the other Titans were defeated.  

As punishment for fighting against the Olympian gods, Zeus condemned Atlas to bear the vault of heaven on his shoulders—the weight of the sky—for eternity.  

The subjects, always female, portrayed in the "Atlas" series are the new Titans.  

In a future marked by a grim outlook, these brilliant and strong women of the future will know how to bear the weight of the world.
